200 Hours Hatha Yoga Teacher Training

This YTTC is a unique Teacher Training program specially designed by the Ancient Yoga Academy (Approved Centre of S-VYASA Yoga University) India and Singapore. The Academy is famous for its collaborative works in the India, U.K, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, USA and China.

Learning Ayurvedic Diet, Lifestyle and the Yoga Teachers Training with an understanding of Ayurveda will give the Teachers a holistic healing approach to Yoga.

What are the practices involve?

AT AYA Hatha Yoga can be practice by breathing exercise, joints loosening, loosening, standing, sitting, prone, supine, balancing posture. As well as pranayama, mediation, yoga nidra, or any form of Yoga techniques. Its emphasis more on HOW rather than WHAT. Also, the practice involves the process or journey that travel oneself from GROSS to SUBTLE.

YTTC aims at helping the individual to become a more complete person through working on one’s consciousness. In our opinion, this perspective is the most original and primary aspect of yoga; it covers the classical meaning i.e. the move towards integration and apprehending the nature of things from within Integration includes Body, Breath and Mind.

    Learn concept and definitions of Yoga in different Classical Yoga texts and great yogies such as Krishna, Patanjali, Vivekananda, Aurobindo and many more.

  • Yoga vs Physical Exercise

    Learn the difference between Yoga Vs. Exercise in detail and understand how to practice yoga to avoid injury. .

  • Theory of Yogic Practices (Hatha and Ashtanga)

    Theory of Yogic Practices, Asanas, Pranayama, Kriyas, and Meditation.     Nostril: Jalneti (Water Cleansing), Sutraneti (Rubber Catheter Cleansing) Stomach: Vaman / Jala Dhouti (Vomiting), Shankha Prakshalan (Colon cleansing) Eye: Jatru Trataka (Shoulder Gazing, Jyoti Trataka (Candle Flame Gazing), Nauli, Kapalbhati, Basti.

  • Kriya Tips, Techniques & Safety

    Learn how to perform all Shatkriyas safely and its contradiction if its not done correctly. Learn how to use household items to prepare water and othe cleansing materials.

  • Pranayama (Breathing)

    Practice classic Pranayama from basic to advance such as: Kapal Bhati – Hyperventilation Breathing, Abdominal Breathing, Chest Breathing, Clavicular Breathing, Full Yogic Breathing, Nadi Shuddhi (Alternate Nostril Breathing), Ujjai Pranayama (Hissing), Cooling Pranayama, Brahmari (Humming), Nadanusandhana (Sound Vibrations).

  • Mudras (Hand Gestures)

    Combine Pranayama along with Mudras (Hand Gestures) and Sound / Mantra such as: Chin, Chinmaya, Adhi, Bhrama and five elements. .

  • Bandha (Yogic Locks)

    Bandhas consider advance practice which helps to strengthen the nervous system, Emotional Blockage, immune system, menstruation, depression & much more.

  • Preparatory Practice

    Special training in breathing along with preparatory practices such as Agnisara, Yoga mudra, alternate nostril brisk breathing to master Bandhas.

  • Bandhas to Bliss

    Apply to bandhas to asanas (posture), Surya namaskar (sun salutation) and any yoga flow and advance pranaya and meditation practces. Students will learn Moola Bhandha, Uddiyana Bhandha, Jhalandhar Bhandha, Maha Bhanda.

  • Undertanding Meditation

    Meditation is a major part of Yogic practice; it is not only seen as nourishing the body but also the mind, intellect and inner balance. Students will learn Basis of Meditation, Theory of Meditative Yoga Practices, About Breath & Senses, Understanding MIND, Understand Pranayama & Its Relation to Meditation, About Panchakosha (5 Layers of existence), Basic Principles of Meditation, 5 Features of Recognition, Meditation and Stress.

  • Types Meditation

    Prashant is a master of meditation, students will learn a three techniques from simple Breath, OM, and Cyclic meditation. Those who would like to master different types of meditation in details such as Pyramid to the more difficult Dynamic meditation, Vipasana, Mindfulness, Chakra, Kriya, and mantra to recomend to joing Pranayama & Meditation Course.

  • Understanding Mantra

    Understanding and know more about Mantra and AUM, types of Japa /Ajapa, It is believed that chanting of Mantra creates spiritual light, which manifests around the practitioner like a halo and it also helps us reach higher states of consciousness.

    We teach the correct pronunciation of Vedic mantras in Sanskrit and we teach Japa (chanting). The pronunciation is essential in creating a vibration working on our different bodies (subtle, physical & mental). We teach the purpose of the mantra for the teacher to know the effect and give the correct mantra & chant according to the specific subject & need, such as: better concentration, self love, more devotion, more strength & cultivating energy.

  • Practicing Mula Mantra

    Students will learn basic mula mantra such as; AUM, Shiva, Gayatri, Maha Mitunjaya, Shanti path etc..

  • Ayurveda Principles

    Learning healthy eating, lifestyle & cooking methods through Ayurveda principles. Food & Lifestyle is a major part of Ayurveda; it is not only seen as nourishing the body but also the mind, intellect and inner balance.

  • Ayurveda Diet, Nutrition & Lifestyle

    Yoga and Diet (Ayurveda Module) will cover topic such as; Introduction to Ayurveda, States and 3 Doshas (Humors), The Vitiating Factors, Digestive Fire (Agni), Toxins (Aama) -The root cause for all diseases, Introduction to Gunas, Ayurvedic Treatment (About massages & herbs) along with Body Type Analysis (Dosha Analysis). Dosha based yogic pratice.

  • 8 Step Methedology

    Learn different application of Yoga along with basics of a Yogic Life, Regularity & Punctuality in the Practical & Theory session (class) Emotional Stability. Eight-Step Teaching Method for Yoga Postures, Art of Asana Sequencing for Kids Yoga, Corporate Yoga, Yoga for Senior Citizen (LESSON PLANNING) etc.

    Project Report
    The participants have to write a report on the practice of Yoga, teaching practice and their personal experience, about any yoga topic. Learn the presentation skills.

  • Introduction to Yoga Therapy

    Learn concept of “Integrated Appproach of Yoga Therapy” (IAYT)and special techniques for Back Pain also learn Pancha Koshas and Concept of Diseases.

    Evaluation & Report Presentation Evaluation

    Learn how to teach asanas, alignment, and modifications to different students based on their abilities; for elderly, sick people and younger children. Learn how to create a proper flow in your sequence from standing to sitting to laying down etc. Assist and Lead yoga sessions at various locations: i.e. Elderly homes, Temples, Corporate, etc., under the guidance of Senior Yoga teachers and independently.

  • Posture Variation & Sequencing

    How to practice Asanas, Perfection for the practitioners practice, Importance of place, time, & sequence., Combination with other exercises, Modifications and variation of Asanas.

  • Yogic Scriptures & Philosophy
